SPAIN: Sea-Land Chemical Co. has entered into a distributor agreement with Aceites Especiales Del Mediterraneo, S.A. (AEMEDSA) in which it will represent AEMEDSA’s natural sodium sulfonate business in the US and Canada. “We continue to search for quality products to supply to our customers and have found an excellent partner in AEMEDSA,” said Joe Clayton, president of Sea-Land Chemical. AEMEDSA, a leading manufacturer of white mineral oils and natural sodium sulfonates based in Cartagena, Spain, is increasing its production capacity by 80% percent by 2017. “After working with Sea-Land Chemical for several years, we feel that we have found the best partner to introduce our company into the United States’ market due to their understanding of our customer’s needs,” said Luis Miguel Melgar, manager director of AEMEDSA.
